This Privacy Policy explains how Relux Nexus LLC ("Relux Nexus", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit the Relux Filling website or use our Florida business filing services (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you place an order we ask for the information the State of Florida requires for the filing you selected, and the information we need to serve you. Depending on the service, this may include:
- your name, email address, and phone number;
- the business entity's name, Florida document number, and federal Employer Identification Number (EIN);
- principal office and mailing addresses;
- the name and address of the entity's registered agent;
- names, titles, and addresses of managers, members, officers, or directors;
- the name and title of the person signing the filing;
- for dissolutions, the requested effective date and a brief description of the event leading to dissolution;
- any notes or instructions you choose to add.
Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number and bank details are entered directly into Stripe's secure payment form. We receive confirmation of payment, the last four digits of the card, and the billing name and email, but we never see or store your full card number.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we may collect basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you viewed, and the date and time of your visit. Our form provider (Tally) may collect similar information when you open an order form.
Information from public sources. To prepare your filing we may look up your entity's current record on the Florida Department of State's public database (sunbiz.org), which is public information.
2. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- prepare and submit the filings you order to the Florida Department of State;
- serve as your registered agent, if you purchase that service, and forward documents we receive for you;
- communicate with you about your order, including requests for missing information, confirmations, and receipts;
- process payments and refunds;
- remind you of upcoming filing deadlines and renewals for services you have purchased;
- send you occasional information about our services, which you can opt out of at any time;
- maintain our records, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations;
- improve our website and the Service.
3. Information filed with the State becomes public
Everything that is submitted to the Florida Department of State as part of a filing, including entity name, addresses, registered agent details, and the names, titles, and addresses of principals, is placed in the State's public records and is published on sunbiz.org, where anyone can view it. This is required by Florida law and is outside our control. Please do not include in a filing any information you do not want to be public. Your EIN, phone number, and payment details are not published by the State.
4. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We share information only as follows:
- The State of Florida. We submit the information required for your filing to the Florida Department of State, Division of Corporations.
- Service providers. We use trusted providers to run the Service: Stripe (payments), Tally (order forms), our email, cloud storage, and website hosting providers. They may process your information only to provide their services to us.
- Professional advisers. We may share information with our attorneys, accountants, or insurers when needed to run our business or resolve a dispute.
- Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect our rights, property, or safety or those of others.
- Business transfers. If Relux Nexus is sold, merged, or reorganized, your information may be transferred to the successor, which will be bound by this Policy.
5. How long we keep your information
We keep order records, including the information filed and the confirmation received from the State, for as long as needed to serve you and to meet our legal, accounting, and record-keeping obligations, generally seven years after the order. Registered agent records are kept for the duration of the service and for a reasonable period afterward. We may keep anonymized or aggregated data indefinitely.
6. How we protect your information
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and reputable providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we learn of a breach affecting your personal information we will notify you as required by applicable law.
7. Your choices and rights
You may at any time:
- ask us what personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct information that is inaccurate;
- ask us to delete your personal information, subject to our legal obligation to keep certain records;
- opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link or by emailing us.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@reluxnexus.com from the address on your order. We may need to verify your identity before acting. Please note that we cannot remove information that has already been filed with the State of Florida; requests to change public records must be made through a new filing.
Residents of Florida and other U.S. states. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws. We will honor valid requests made under those laws.
Clients outside the United States, including Brazil. If you are located outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country. By using the Service you consent to that transfer. If you are a resident of Brazil, you may have rights under the Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD), including access, correction, deletion, and information about sharing; you may exercise them by contacting us at the email above.
8. Cookies and analytics
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for it to function, and basic analytics to understand how the site is used. Our form and payment providers use cookies required for the order and payment process. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling necessary cookies may prevent the order form or payment from working.
9. Children
The Service is intended for business owners and representatives who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Third-party sites
Our website links to third-party sites, including sunbiz.org, Stripe, and Tally. This Policy does not apply to those sites, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please review their policies.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The current version is always available on our website with its effective date at the top. If we make material changes, we will notify active clients by email.
